Purchased in 1619 by the Venturi family – a noble family originally from Salerno – the palace is now a refined historical residence, where architecture and hospitality come together in balance.

In Specchia Gallone, a hamlet of Minervino, stands Palazzo Gallone, later known as Palazzo Basalù. Built in the 16th century, it was transformed into a noble residence in the following centuries. The inner courtyard, the gardens with citrus groves, and the star vaults tell a story of noble stratifications: from the Gallone to the Sangiovanni to the Basalù.
According to tradition, during a Turkish siege, a noblewoman found refuge there: ever since, it is said that her presence still hovers within the walls, like an echo of resistance and memory.
